Dreamers Always Win: AHHH Two Days!

Holy hell that came quick.

Today Kai is officially two months old and gets to come home with me Sunday!

Can’t wait to bring this little ball of fluff home! EEEE

Things I had to get done:

-~~Clean Room~~

-~~Clean couch so Shannon has somewhere to sleep~~ (Maple likes it too)

-~~Get Certified cheque…~~

I know it hit me today, i was like OKAY so I leave Sunday…Lyss gets here Saturday- oh god that’s tomorrow..when did that happen.

…i haven’t started packing….and the harddrive on my mac is full…guess what i get to do tomorrow..

I didn’t have coffee actually, but I did find a box of smarties whilst cleaning and there’s also a giant bag of food and candy stored in my room for the drive down and back. I may have dipped into that :D

It hit me today I needed to grab puppy food, packed her crate and was like…good god. Less then 78 hours from now Ill have her! And You!

Holy crap I am le excite as well as le tired….

TWO DAYS!

Also, the highway south to Sudbury is opening tommorow at 11am. Meaning they finally have a handle on this monster forest fire. Not driving that way but gives me peace of mind to know my city won’t burn to the ground while I’m away.

What people understand is that its not a ‘hobby’ or a ‘phase’. It’s a delicate bond between a 1500lb animal and a small human being. In which this animal gives the human complete control for hours at a time when they could easily kill this puny being. A bond which only horseback riders understand. A bond that takes years to create but can easily be broken. I don’t ride to win, or to prove I’m better. I ride because I love this horse and together we both strive to win.
